When Julie Harbert used to hear the word Philips, lightbulbs, toothbrushes and shavers came to mind. Now it’s been a year and a half of unexpected surprises for this Head of Global Business Services and Shared Service Transformation.
It has been a real eye-opener for Julie just how much Philips is doing in the personal health space. Lighting is now a separate company, and shavers and toothbrushes “are just a segment in a very broad and compelling strategy that looks towards population health management,” she says.
“I think the strategy is great and I'm so happy to be a part of it.”
As a leader in Business Transformation, Julie joined Philips to help contribute towards its healthcare vision by creating a strategy around how Philips can be more efficient and excellent in everything they do. It was the buzz around innovation and the chance to make an impact that compelled her to join.
